1. Accepted payment methods
- Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit and debit cards
- Apple Pay and Google Pay (on supported devices)
- Other methods shown on the Stripe checkout page, which may vary by device and location
- Bank transfer and 30-day invoice for approved trade accounts
2. Secure checkout with Stripe
All online payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment provider. When you press Buy now, you are redirected to a secure page hosted by Stripe. Your full card details are entered on Stripe's systems only — we never see or store them. Your bank may ask you to verify the payment using 3-D Secure (Strong Customer Authentication).
3. When payment is taken
Payment is taken in full at the time you place your order. You will receive an email receipt from Stripe and an order confirmation from us. A VAT invoice is available on request and is sent to trade customers automatically.
4. Currency and VAT
All prices are charged in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT at the prevailing UK rate. If your card is issued outside the UK, your bank may apply exchange fees.
5. Fraud prevention
To protect our customers, orders may be screened by Stripe's fraud detection tools. Occasionally we may contact you to verify an order before dispatch, or ask that large orders be delivered to the card's billing address.
6. Refunds and chargebacks
Refunds are always made to the original payment method. If you have a problem with a payment, please contact us before raising a dispute with your bank — we can usually resolve things faster. See our returns policy.
